Often in a Webhook or Webform source, the only Name field option includes the first and last name. This article will show you how you can pull out the first name, and the initial of the last name to display in a Conversion notification.
Select the Name field from the Source
The first thing you will want to do, is pull the Name field from the source.
Create Your Merge Fields
The next thing you will need to do is create your Merge Fields to put into the notification. If you don't know how to create Merge Fields, use this article here.
Your first Merge Field will be for the First Name. Give it a label and then select your full name field from the drop-down.
Under the Options tab of that Merge field, select Get Only First Word.
Once you've saved the First Name Merge Field, create another Merge Field for Last Initial. Then select the full name field again.
Under the options tab for this one, select Get Only Last Word and Get Only First Letter.
Add your Merge Fields to your Notification
Once you have saved your Merge fields, add them to your Notification.
Save and Publish the Campaign
Once you have added your merge fields, make sure to Save your notificaton and Publish your campaign.
