How to Integrate Evidence with ActiveChat

This article will walk you through the steps to have ActiveChat send Evidence a Webhook to display conversions in a notification.

Step 1: Create a Webhook

In order to integrate ActiveChat with Evidence, Stripe needs a “Webhook URL” to send the data to. Follow this article to learn how to create a webhook URL within Evidence to insert into ActiveChat.

Step 2: Connect to ActiveChat

Log into ActiveChat and edit your bot. Drag a JSON module to the end of your chat.

Add JSON

In the Module, paste the Evidence URL that you created in the previous step.

Paste URL

Change the Type to POST.

POST.

Click the "Add Parameters" icon.

Add Parameters.

Configure your parameters like below.

Name/Value Pairs.

Evidence is now waiting to receive a webhook from ActiveChat. You can either wait for a conversation to be completed with a bot naturally, or go have a conversation with the bot yourself.
