In this article we will cover how to integrate OptinMonster with Evidence allowing you to display conversions on your site.
Note: This solution will only work with OptinMonster’s Pro and Growth plans.
Step 1: Launch a campaign
In order to integrate OptinMonster with Evidence, OptinMonster needs a “Webhook URL” to send the data. Follow this article to learn how to create a webhook URL within Evidence to insert into OptinMonster.
Log in to your OptinMonster account and choose the campaign you would like to integrate with Evidence. The best solution is to create a new source in Evidence for each OptinMonster campaign.
Click the “Edit Campaign” button to edit the campaign.
Navigate to the “Integrations” tab and click on the “Add New Integration” button.
Next, choose Webhook from the “Email Provider” drop down menu.
Enter a label for the “Webhook Account Label“.
Copy the Webhook URL from your Evidence source and paste it into the “URL” field in OptinMonster.
Click “Connect to Webhook“.
Important: Make sure that Evidence is listening for Webhooks. Your source in Evidence should look like this…
Now it’s time to test your OptinMonster campaign to ensure Evidence is receiving Webhooks. OptinMonster should send a test Webhook when the connection is made.
Tip: If you don’t see any fields being captured by Evidence try filling out the opt-in manually. Don’t forget to turn on your source and publish to push those changes live!
